Nature and Type
Tecomate Tour and Safaris have modern custom-designed vehicles with open roofs for easy game viewing when it comes to comfortable and safe travel. Our vehicles can carry a maximum of six (6) passengers, all of whom are guaranteed window seats. We typically use 4×4 Toyota Land Cruisers, which are chosen for their comfort and durability on rough roads in the bush.
Equipment/devices:
Cooler box: All of our vehicles are outfitted with a small cooler box to store bottled water while on safari. The cooler box in the vehicle is only designed to provide cold drinks and cannot produce ice cubes. The cooler box operates in conjunction with the vehicle engine, as the cooler can only function when the engine is turned on. As a result, it ensures that cold drinks are available throughout your game drive.
Radio: To facilitate communication between drivers while on safari, our vehicles are equipped with radio calls. Drivers in the bush typically connect with other drivers via radio calls to invite neighbouring drivers if they observe fascinating moments such as animal killing and/or creatures that are challenging to spot given that animals are in their natural habitat and our national parks are diverse.
Radio is necessary for an emergency, such as a rare breakdown, and drivers can use it to phone another car nearby for assistance. To make sure that everyone is doing what is best for their clients, drivers use this form of family communication.
Charging outlets: All of our vehicles are featured with UK pin square outlets that may be used to recharge your batteries. If you are utilizing US applications, should you bring an adoptive parent? Each outlet produces 110v to 220v, which is sufficient to charge common batteries.
First Aid Kit: Together with other usual things like prescriptions, this is in our car. Our guides can offer advice and carry out rapid rescues for small injuries because they have received training and are certified in first aid, but they are also trained to suggest that you go to the hospital for proper medical care from a doctor if you have major health problems. And certainly, our guide will take you there.
A few of the supplies in our first aid kits are cotton wool, spirit, razors, scissors, plaster bandages, paracetamol, iodine, rubber, and gloves.
Garbage Can/bag: Littering is absolutely forbidden. We adhere to this policy because we care about the environment and understand how important it is to keep a rubbish can or bag in every one of our cars. Please keep all of your trash in a bag or can that is accessible in your car to participate in our environmental campaign and help keep our environment clean. The car will be washed and any trash removed following each day’s game drive.
Bean bag: This is a little, specially made bag that weighs around 5 kg and may be positioned at the edge of a car window to hold the camera for the finest photo opportunity. Please let us know if you need one, and we’ll place one for you.
Luggage space
If there are six people in a car, there isn’t much room in the trunk for a lot of luggage. The suggested measurements for your suitcase are (60cm x 30cm x 27cm).
Avoid travelling with hard cases because they might be damaged when loaded all at once and get scratched or broken. We advise leaving your extra luggage with us for no additional charge and picking it up at the conclusion of your safari if you arrive with a lot of luggage but don’t use it all while on safari to save yourself the trouble of lugging around a lot of bags.
Service/maintenance/operation
From top to boot, tire to rooftop, including all equipment, our vehicles is put under rigorous pre-safari checks to make sure they are in good operating order for a trouble-free safari. Inevitably, we periodically run into problems considering the condition of the roads we travel on. Once this occurs, you understand how crucial it is to travel with a firm with the necessary scope and experience.
To ensure that customers rarely miss any of their game-viewing experiences due to vehicle problems, we have a very good rescue plan and crew in the event of an emergency. One example is a trustworthy repair team located close to destinations.
In addition to having the best vehicles, we also have the best driver guides, each of whom has years of expertise and vehicle-specific training.
