Arusha National Park on a rainy day with Gabriel
What an unforgettable experience! I only had time for a day trip and had planned to visit Arusha National Park. I was told by other tourists - who apparently never got the chance to experience the park with Gabriel ;) - that Arusha National Park is by far not as "interesting" as other national parks in Tanzania. And yet, Gabriel's incredible knowledge about the wildlife, his fascinating stories and impressive driving skills (even in a muddy park) combined with his kind-hearted and passionate personality made this one of the most beautiful adventures ever. We saw so many different animals and I couldn't tell who was more excited about our safari. I can't wait to come back and experience the "more interesting" parks with Gabriel. great and qualified Safari Trip
Thanks to the very competent team at Tecomate Tours, we were able to absolutely enjoy our private camping safari to the south of the Serengeti and the Nogoronoro. This was mainly due to the very good booking and advice, the personal preliminary discussion the evening before the safari and the qualified guide and cook who accompanied us. We felt very safe the entire time and received a lot of background information (information about the landscape, culture, history and of course the animals and animal behavior), no questions were left unanswered. Last but not least, we were impressed by the always fresh and absolutely delicious food from Hermann our chef. He always made sure we were okay! Gabriel, our guide, demonstrated a perfect eye for sightings, routes and great photo spots throughout. The great team of guides and cooks created a very pleasant atmosphere and accompanied us throughout the entire time in a very friendly, humorous manner and with a very good knowledge of the German language. Together we coordinated the day's planning, taking all of our wishes into account. During the safari we took enough time to observe the animals. It was also important to us that all of the equipment was very well maintained (Toyota Landcruiser with a very good engine and options for charging technical equipment) and clean. We left the safari with a huge backpack of memories and thousands of photos, as well as the desire to come back. A wonderful safari with a brilliant guide Gabriel

Tecomate Tours & Safari is an amazing tour operator. They are passionate, well organised and offer great service. Especially our guide Gabriel was fantastic. He gave us a lot of insights and answered all our questions. He is fluent in several languages and knows a lot about the local culture, animals and plants. He really loves his job. He was also patient enough to teach us a few words and phrases in Swahili. His amazing driving skills came in handy more than once. We saw many more animals than we expected. Even the really shy ones. Even if we hadn't seen them, the game drives and the whole trip would still have been fabulous. The proposed accomodations were great and the meals were always delicous. Hello to all Tanzania and Zanzibar holidaymakers, We are currently enjoying our stay in Africa (10/21/23 to 11/6/23). Our Tanzania safari was already a complete success. We owe this wonderful time and the experiences associated with it to the local tour operator Tecomate Tours and our guide Gabriel. A quick note about our guide: Gabriel speaks fluent German and has an enormous knowledge of the flora and fauna in Tanzania. What we particularly liked was his pleasant manner, his enthusiasm for his work and the order and cleanliness throughout the entire tour. Ultimately, we are very happy that we did not book with overpriced European travel agencies but with a local provider. This also enabled us to reduce our tour costs considerably. Great experience!
We had a 1-week safari tour in Tanzania. We climbed to 1st base of Kilimanjaro and then visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and had a culture tour in a local village. Everything perfect ;-)
We booked a private trip to Ruanda (Kigali and Golden Monkey Tracking in the Volcanos), Uganda (Gorilla-Tracking) and Tanzania (Serengeti, Ngorongoro Nationalpark). We visited a lot of different lodges. Every accommodation was amazing and the staff was very welcoming. We had two different guides on this trip. Charles for Ruanda and Uganda and Gabriel for Tanzania. Both spoke very good German and were very friendly, competent and reliable. All our questions were well answered. The guys also took care of all the formalities for us and drove us safely by all roads.
