Tecomate Tours and Safaris has a strong team that works tirelessly to make sure that every customer fulfils the tour’s worthiness. Because of this, we make sure to thoroughly analyze even the smallest components provided or required for a good holiday. Due to our crew’s extensive travels around Tanzania, we know how to make sure that your journey is nothing short of amazing.
Our Pride in the Tourism industry
We take pride in being original and creative while designing, planning, and executing specially crafted safaris and tours with the goal of providing a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The budget for 2020 for our nation states that the tourism industry contributes 10.7% of GDP, a figure that is rising yearly. Many potential impacts of this growth on locals and the national economy are also possible.
Appropriate measures have been expanded in order to guarantee that the industry maintains stability and develops as smoothly as feasible. As a result, we try to establish sustainable working practices while adhering to all directives issued by the pertinent ministries and their agencies.
Our attitude toward Responsible Travel
Tecomate Tours and Safaris’ staff is in favour of “green travel.” We continue to move forward while considering the economic and environmental impacts on the world. Giving back and recognizing our place in the larger scheme of things are crucial for a variety of endeavours, including empowering neighbourhood communities through business and education and safeguarding the wildlife that coexists with us.
We support our customers’ deliberate trips. Only our love for showing you about our country equals our commitment to preserving historical treasures and natural resources for future generations to enjoy. Our crew makes a concerted effort to ensure that no natural or cultural items or materials are removed in order to preserve the aesthetic and usefulness of our surroundings.
OUR GUIDE
Tecomate Tours and Safaris offers professional safari guides that are fluent in English, and others speak a range of languages including Spanish, German, French, and Italian. Our driver guides are skilled educators and communicators who have received professional training in all facets of safety and are also very honest people.
We believe that our driver guides are creative and adaptable, quick to transform itineraries to best suit specific client needs and interests. Conscious of group dynamics, highly committed to providing excellent customer service, and knowledgeable about the psychological, emotional, and intellectual needs of their guests. All of these goals are achieved by our driver guides, who uphold the greatest levels of professionalism.
Qualifications and training of Our Guides
Our guides adhere to the standards set forth by the Tanzania Association of Tour Operators (TATO), which call for accreditation and specialized training for tour guides. The registration of a required credential from a tour guide college in Tanzania is required as part of the accreditation process.
All tour guides have professional experience, a current driver’s license, and the First Aid certification that the TATO mandates. We are proud of the services our driver guides who have more than ten years of expertise under their belts, offer to our customers.
Tecomate Tour provides regular training based on ongoing tourism activities and customer demands to ensure we meet customer expectations and follow a professional code of ethics.
Sharing Experience
For sharing their experiences with clients, we think that our guides serve as excellent role models. They are happy to impart to you their expertise about our wildlife, culture, lodging, and safest driving practices.
Their main responsibility is to disseminate knowledge about each park visited, the animals spotted, and any other educational details about Tanzania in general. In order to organize the next day’s program, including the ideal time to pick up for the game and all other arrangements to make the day run successfully, they hold a briefing with clients every evening throughout the safari.
The guide will give you honest advice if you ask for it if you wish to add an extra excursion.
Although the roads in National Parks are unpaved and unsteady, our driver-driving demeanour will put you at ease.
Our Kilimanjaro Mountain Porters
Tecomate Tours and Safaris successfully complete trekking tours thanks to our superb team of porters and guides. We rely on a core group of porters for the majority of our climbs. We employ a porter-to-climber ratio of 3–4 on each and every one of our climbs. This indicates that no porter is carrying an excessive amount of weight. Also, it makes the climb much more fun because you don’t have to carry anything other than what you need from camp to camp each day. As a result of Tecomate Tour’s positive reputation on the mountain, many porters want to join us on our ascent, and our core group is made up of wonderful, amiable, and dedicated individuals.
