After breakfast, depart toward Ngorongoro crater for a crater tour.
Ranked as one of the most spectacular wildlife destinations on Earth, this long-extinct volcano is the world’s largest intact caldera. Sheltering within its steep-sided walls are diverse habitats, including permanent wetlands, which support astonishing numbers of animals. Ngorongoro has long protected a thriving population of big game species: great-tusked elephants, healthy black rhinos, and famous black-maned lions.
This is one of the few places in Africa where the Big 5 can be seen in a single game drive, and there is much more to observe. Herds of gazelle, wildebeest, and zebra are resident here while smaller predators like caracal and serval cats are often seen along with lions and their eternal enemies, spotted hyenas. After ascending from the crater floor, we drive to Tarangire Region for overnight.
Overnight stay at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge on Full Board

After breakfast, we will drive to Tarangire National Park, which is known as a “Elephant playground,” for our final game drive. Tarangire has an appealing ecology with many baobab trees and seasonal changes that attract a large number of birds, with over 4000 recorded bird species.
Aside from elephants, other common resident animals include dik-diks, impalas, elands, Grant’s gazelles, vervet monkeys, zebras, waterbucks, and giraffes, as well as predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and caracals.
After the game drive, we drive back to Kilimanjaro International Airport to check- in on your onward flight.
