After breakfast and a short tour briefing from the guide, we will pick you up from your hotel and drive to the Marangu gate of Kilimanjaro National Park nestling at 1,872 meters (it is 3 hour’s drive from Arusha to the Marangu Gate). Upon registering with park authorities, our climb will officially commence with a four-hour walk to the Mandara Hut (2,750m.

If you still have time and energy, you can take a 15-minute walk to the Maundi crater, to see a stunning view of the Mawenzi peak.

After taking in the sights of our destination, we begin our 2-hour descent back to Marangu gate, where our driver awaits us to take us back to Arusha.

When descending, extra caution is advised because most injuries on the mountain occur during the descent.
