Many wildlife species can be found in Lake Manyara National Park, including elephants, wildebeest, buffalos, hippos, waterbucks, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, and tree-climbing lions, to name a few. The beautifully alkaline lake attracts flocks of flamingos that feed along the lakeshore, though flamingos and other water birds are usually found in small numbers during the dry season.

Depart early in the morning with breakfast and lunch boxes, followed by a 1-hour drive to Lake Eyasi for Hadzabe and Datoga excursions.
Lake Eyasi is a unique location in northern Tanzania that is home to the famous Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. When we first arrive in the village, we join the “Hadza” people, who are typically hunters who bring meat and honey home to feed their families. Men have traditionally done this, while women and children gather fruits and roots to supplement their diet.
Hunting demonstrations are typically conducted in the morning because the chances of obtaining a kill are higher than in the afternoon. Our experience will include the traditional method of making fire with special wood and thick sticks. Following that, we travel to Datoga for more cultural experiences.
Activity 2: The Datoga are natural blacksmiths and pastoralists. They are similar to the Masai in that they keep animals and rely heavily on milk and meat for their diet. Farming is one of their daily activities, and they grow maize, millet beans, and onions. The blacksmiths use local materials to make tools and weapons for daily use, and they trade them with “Hadza” for hunting.
We drive to our lovely lodge in the evening to spend the night.
Accommodation: Ziwani Lodge on Full Board.
Driving distance 240kms/ 4hrs and 50minutes
We depart with our lunch boxes for the Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where we will be rewarded with the best views of highlands and valleys, as well as some wild animals and Maasai people with their cattle. In the afternoon, we arrive at the magnificent Serengeti for an afternoon game drive. Your game drive here combines the known and the unknown and at every turn, there is a new experience.
Accommodation: Narudi Tented Camp on Full Board
Today is a full day of intensive game drives at this highly-rated park. We have the opportunity to see a variety of animals, including preferred big cats in their pride, bird species, and an uncountable number of grazer animals. Breakfast at the lodge then drive to the crater floor for a game drive
Under the auspices of UNESCO, the Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s eighth wonder. The Ngorongoro Crater is technically a Caldera, the world’s largest unflooded one at more than 1600 feet deep and 102 square miles in size. Because most of the animals stay in this area all year, game viewing is excellent. Along the lakeshore of Lake Magadi, you can see lions, Cape buffalo, hippos, elephants, zebras, and antelopes, as well as many bird species, including flamingos. If itching, this is also the chance to see the rare Black rhinoceros. In a single game, the big five animals can be seen in the crater.
Ascend and drive after the game drive then drive to the Tarangire region.
Driving distance: 175kms/ 3hrs
After breakfast, we drive to Tarangire National Park well known as the “Elephant playground” for a game drive. Tarangire has an appealing ecology with many baobab trees and seasonal changes that attract a large number of birds, with over 4000 recorded bird species.
Aside from elephants, other common resident animals include Dik-dik, Impalas, Elands, Grant’s gazelle, Vervet monkeys, Zebras, Waterbucks, Giraffes, and predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, and caracals. A lunch box will be provided by the picnic area.
