diks, Impalas, and Tree climbing Lions to name a few. It is most renowned for its more than 5,000 recorded bird species, which include migrating flamingos and a variety of water birds drawn to the park’s alkaline lake, which covers aconsiderable amount of its land. After an early breakfast, depart for a game drive on the Ngorongoro craterfloor.
This long-extinct volcano is the world's largest intact caldera and is regarded as one of the most spectacular wildlife destinations on the planet. Diverse habitats, including permanent wetlands, shelter within its steep-sided walls,
supporting an astonishing number of animals. Ngorongoro has long been home to a thriving population of big game species, including great-tusked elephants, healthy black rhinos, and the famous black-maned lions.
This is one of the few places in Africa where you can see the Big 5 on a single game drive, and there's plenty more to see. Gazelle, wildebeest, and zebra herds live here, as do smaller predators such as caracal and serval cats, as well as lions and their eternal adversaries, spotted hyenas.
After our enjoyable game, we ascend and drive to Arusha City for drop-off.
